Mostly Media recently helped our client Bradfords Building Supplies launch their newest store in Taunton. With Taunton divided in terms of travel, with it often taking over half an hour to get across town, Bradfords decided to open a new branch on the east of the town.

Working on both the media buying and creative for the campaign, Mostly Media were tasked with launching the store by increasing visitor numbers to the open day and then ensuring repeat customers by targeting the trade and consumers.

In the lead up to the open day we ran a local radio campaign on Heart Somerset, booked a 48 sheet advan to circulate the town in traffic hotspots and also a targeted door drop that promoted the launch day and the chance to win a brand new van for those attending.

On the open day itself we branded a breakfast van which served free breakfast to customers, free gifts including branded lunch boxes, coffee therma’s and energy drinks.

With over 300 people attending during the day the launch was a great success and we are delighted to report that Bradfords were very happy with the impact of the campaign.

Our Media Manager James Thompson commented:

‘We have enjoyed working with Bradfords for a few years now and were delighted to work on this campaign. The footfall at the event was really pleasing and from speaking to customers on the day itself, virtually everyone had received the door drop campaign and recalled either the advan or the radio advert so 2 out of 3 is a good result for us in terms of coverage and shows good use of the available budget. Our creative team also did a great job on all of the design and branding which was consistent throughout and followed the Bradfords brand guidelines perfectly’.
